Labyrinth Zone Act 1
Try out the following if you need help getting through this room: hop onto one of the moving platforms and jump across the room before Sonic hits the spikes on the ceiling. Try to land on a platform that's going down. Jump quickly up onto the button. That opens the floor so you can continue.

Marble Zone Act 2
Find the secret room with a 1 UP in it! Just watch out for those nasty spikes while entering and leaving.
Here's a shortcut for the Scrap Brain Zone - Act 3. Follow this map and within a couple of minutes you'll find yourself entering The Final Zone ready to take on Dr. Robotnik.
Here's a shortcut for the Scrap Brain Zone - Act 3
- Start by jumping on the button. Next, run to the edge of the moving platform and drop over the side onto the slope.
- Run down the slope and jump up onto the platform to the left of the shallow water. Push the button and go down to the water at the right. Watch out for the spikes coming out of the walls. Time your jump so you don't hit them. Make your way to the right and jump up onto the platform. Don't try jumping down - you'll have barely enough air to make it through this section.
- At the space where you can breathe, head right and collect the rings.
- After jumping the first hole, go down in the water and pick up some rings, then wait and get a bubble of air. Now, move to the right and time your jumps in order to avoid the spiked ball.
- Farther up you should be even more careful as there are two more balls to dodge. Once past them, just jump on the spring and launch yourself into the Final Zone.
The levels consist of 3 acts in each zone and a boss fight at the end of the third act, after which you move on to the next zone. The graphics were mind blowing for the time. Today, compared to some of the really intricate stuff in Sonic 2 and Sonic and Knuckles they are a little tame but they still look good overall. The layout of the levels is great, with rolling hills, wide open areas, loops to run through and walls to break. The entire Sonic series is known for its great levels and the original game is no exception.
The sound is excellent, from the classic “Sega” that you hear when first starting the game, to the music that plays in each stage. They're simply some of the best tracks on the Genesis.
This is one of those games that you have to own. If you haven’t played it then do yourself a favor and track it down as fast as you can. I’ve been playing it since 1991 and I still go back to it every now and then. Some legends never die.
WARNING: HEDGEHOGS APPROACHING AT SONIC SPEEDS
You got it! That super speedy hedgehog with an attitude has just sped his way into the 8-bit market and does he ever have a job to do! It seems Sonic's friends are beginning to disappear from the homeland. Who could behind such a plot except the evil Dr. Robotnic who is changing Sonic's buddies into robot slaves! Needless to say, Sonic don't play that game!
Use your fleeting footpower to run through totally new 8-Bit worlds not seen in Sonic's Genesis adventures! There's plenty of power-up items ranging from the super sneakers that give you all the super speed you need, to bubble shields that will help you survive longer!
All you 8-Bit bangers don't feel left out! Sonic is here to jam to some of the hottest 8-Bit action around!
Sonic and the evil Ivo Robotnik have faced off on Genesis, Master System, and in their own comic book. And they're at it again, this time on the portable Game Gear system.
Now everyone's favorite hedgehog is not only the fastest video critter in red sneakers, he's everywhere! With the Game Gear edition, video hounds can play this cart not just in homes but in cars, on the streets, in schools, everywhere!
As always, Sonic The Hedgehog is a blast and a half to play. Leaping, running, and rolling with lightning speed, Sonic keeps the action hopping and the control buttons bopping through all six great levels, each with three awesome acts.
Robotnik has transformed Sonic's animal friends into 10 different kinds of robotic beasts, all with a bloodlust for hedgehogs. It's up to Sonic to smash into these Badniks and free his friends — unless the evil Badniks get him first. Whenever you see gold rings and shields, grab 'em. They offer Sonic protection from the endless army of attacking Badniks.
The gold rings are also Sonic's pass into Bonus Stages — if he has enough, he has a chance to bounce like a ball in a giant pinball machine, ricocheting at a fast and furious pace as he collects more gold rings, continues, and power-ups. But if his brain gets scrambled and his time expires, he loses all. So keep your wits about you.
Even if you've played the Genesis version, you'll find some new surprises here. For one thing, there are three new zones. Also, you'll find chaos emeralds in all zones. And if you thought the Bonus Zones were challenging on Genesis, wait till you try them with a time limit!
Sonic zooms up and down the lush hills of the Green Hill Zone, past futuristic palm trees, totem poles, and treacherous valleys filled with piercing spikes. He survives if he can catapult or swing over the spikes. Be on the lookout for Chopper, Motobug, Crabmeat, and the Buzz Bomber. Sonic goes underground to negotiate paths with more spikes and more Badniks.
Sonic next faces the Bridge Zone (a new zone), where his jumping is put to the test as bridges give way beneath him. And while this is going on, Chopper, Spiked Motorbug, and Buzz Bomber are after him. Learn to use the see-saws in this zone for extra high jumps. The second act is especially tricky, when the game scrolls and Sonic has no choice but to keep moving forward,he has very little time to plan his jumps.
In the Jungle Zone (another new zone) with exotic red flowers and vines, Sonic has to jump across dangerous rivers — there's little room for jumping goofs here. Newtron joins the Badniks in making Sonic's life difficult.

Then it's on to the Labyrinth, where Sonic steps into some gross, green slime and slides into an underwater maze. Sonic may be great, but he can't breathe underwater! Not only do you have to get him out of there fast (like, before he drowns), you've got to keep an eye out for the hedgehog-chomping Jaws.
After his underwater adventure, he has to undergo the Scrap Brain Zone, Robotnik's metallic maze of horror. Conveyor belts transport Sonic to safety..or to his demise. It's very hard to get Sonic through the orange flames and demonic machinery. Sonic can get disoriented and squished all too easily in this zone.
Should Sonic live, he comes face to face with Robotnik himself in his immense blue and red fortress of evil in the Sky Base Zone, which is new. Robotnik launches missiles, bullets, laser beams, and Badniks at him. And then the two square off with each other for the final climactic act.
Games like Sonic The Hedgehog don't come around that often, so it's great that all Segaphiles, no matter what machine they jam on, now can get in on the super Sonic action. Sonic The Hedgehog is destined to be one of the all-time classic video games. If you haven't given Sonic a test drive yet, fasten your seat belt and cut him loose!
In the Jungle, you can jump to tree branches. But lookout for the ones with spikes on them.
Collect all six chaos emeralds if you want to see the real ending.
Use the air bubbles to get through the underwater maze. And get out fast!
Take care with those bridges! If Sonic touches the water, it's all over.
Move slowly in Robotnik's fortress.
For the past several months, a crack team of designers and game players at Sega have been furiously working on their next hero for the Genesis system. What they've created is a delightful little fellow whose unique personality explodes with every minute of gameplay. Now, after exhaustive efforts from Sega, it's time to unveil Sonic The Hedgehog for the Sega Genesis system.
Sonic is a character in all senses of the word. Just from his facial expressions and body language you can tell that this little mammal is stubborn, headstrong, confident, and, to say the least, utterly determined to successfully destroy the dark force that shadows his world.
You're probably wondering how Sonic got his name. Well, our little blue friend's ultra-sonic running and jumping abilities are guaranteed to bust the sound barrier wide open. As a matter of fact, to the best of Sega's knowledge, there is no other game character in existence that compares to Sonic's mind- boggling pace. When Sonic gets up to cruising speed, his legs become a blur of red and he is then able to defy the laws of gravity!
And for those gamers out there who like to play on the cutting edge, when Sonic grabs the special power sneaker 1-up, this boy displays some serious wheels! In addition to his unclockable speed, Sonic also has the ability to jump, spin, and crush any creature unfortunate enough to get in his way.
This was just a little background on Sonic, the character. Now let's take an inside look at his world and the many obstacles he will face.
As our game begins, an evil scientist has turned all of Sonic's animal friends into deadly metal warriors of terror, each bent on bringing Sonic's quest to an abrupt end. Sonic has taken on the unpleasant task of rescuing all of his buddies and disposing of the devil-like scientist responsible for this unspeakable wrongdoing. Sonic must endure six grueling zones (three challenging stages or rounds per zone) and one bonus stage while racing against the clock and collecting as many gold rings as he can along the way. The gold rings allow Sonic to build higher scores, and, if he is able to hold onto fifty or more rings at one time, he will receive a much needed 1-up. Unfortunately, if Sonic either steps on a booby trap or takes a hit from one of his former companions, he will lose all of the rings he is carrying at the time. The zones are complex, and offer a variety of paths to take to complete the rounds. This may seem difficult, but the terrain in Sonic's world is overflowing with computer monitors containing a wide variety of power-ups, including temporary invincibility, a bubble shield, power sneakers, 1-ups, and gold ring ten-packs.
The 3-D zones in Sonic's world are diversified and situate him in every conceivable setting. The scenery is gorgeous, imaginative and unique, with its own obstacles and pitfalls. For example, The Green Hill Zone is blessed with a lush green mountainous landscape, complete with looming palm trees and a turbulent waterfall flowing in the background. In this zone, Sonic encounters a multitude of companions turned warriors. He will be able to restore these soldiers of doom to their former peaceful selves by hitting them with one of his supersonic spin attacks. While paying careful attention to the enemies obstructing his path, Sonic must also navigate across lands full of collapsing ledges, spike plateaus, and moving grassy platforms.
In The Marble Zone, ancient ruins are floating atop an active volcanic lava bed that spews molten fireballs high above the ground. The volcanic eruptions cause the ground to shake, rise and fall without warning. This zone is so hot that the mere addition of heat from Sonic's body may be enough to cause the grass under his feet to spontaneously combust and turn into a burning bed of flames. The familiar cast of villains is present again to thwart Sonic's efforts. Hidden within the lava is a secret underground passage and the only exit to more new and exciting levels and zones. However, the passage is covered with razor- sharp spikes that jump at you from all angles. Sonic will have to be very careful.
Well, gamers, there you have it, a sneak preview of a game cartridge that is sure to take the country by storm. The graphics and animation are the best yet and Sonic delivers the latest in technical achievements of the gaming industry. Even as you are reading this, the final touches are being placed on Sonic The Hedgehog. Sega is programming some additional interactive features in order to make the game even more enjoyable and addicting.

Sonic the Hedgehog Crack, Sonic the Hedgehog Free Download, Sonic the Hedgehog REPACK, Sonic the Hedgehog Torrent, Sonic the Hedgehog Torrent DownloadThe recipe for a great hand-held game is pretty simple, but sometimes hard to pull off. Fast-paced game play, crisp graphics that won't leave you blind, and enough challenge to ensure you won't finish the game with one set of batteries seems to be a tough combo for a mighty miniature. Good news! Sonic The Hedgehog 2's back for a Game Gear sequel and has everything it takes to make you wanna hold hands with your Game Gear for a good long time.
Which Way to the Emerald City?
Sure, Sonic finished off the diabolical Ivo Robotnik in the first Sonic The Hedgehog for the Game Gear (See GamePro, February '92). If you thought that was the end of that story, though, you're way wrong. Robotnik's returned to the forest and kidnapped all the little forest creatures, including Sonic's two-tailed foxy buddy, Tails. To free all the critters from Robotnik's Crystal Egg, Sonic's got to locate all six Chaos Emeralds.
The scene is set for seven zones of rip-roarin', multi-scrolling action/adventure that shows off the Game Gear at its best. Sonic runs, rolls, and jumps through the two Acts of each Zone, and then faces off against one of Robotnik's seven deadly robots in each Zone's additional final Act.

Hedgehog Handsome
Sonic 2's graphics belong in the top ranks of the Game Gear's greatest hits. The scenery is crisp and clear, and it includes plenty of secret tunnels, loop-to-loops, and interesting underwater areas. Sonic's a small sprite, but his movements are well-animated and easy to follow.
What's new and different to see? Try the loop-to-loops for one. Then, check out the deadly spinning Flywheels in the Gimmick Mountain and Crystal Egg Zones. While you're at it, eyeball Sonic's new rides: the Railcarts in the Under Ground Zone, the Hang Gliders in the Sky High Zone, and the Bubbles in the Aqua Lake Zone.
The game play is Sonic all the way, simple to learn and easy to control for the most part. However, Sonic's a feisty character. Master the subtleties of his movements, or you'll roll into some serious and frustrating trouble.
Ring Around the Rodent
Sonic The Hedgehog 2 Game
Per standard Sonic, you grab Rings and special Monitors to earn different types of power-ups and you must always have at least one Ring in your possession. One hundred Rings still earns you a 1-up, but this version of the game doesn't have any Bonus rounds. Sonic can also search for Super 10 Ring Monitors, Power Sneakers, Invincibility Monitors, and 1-ups.
Rodentia Dementia
Even the speediest of Sonic players won't blow through this Game Gear adventure in one sitting. As in all the Sonic adventures, you can attempt to fly through the Zones, but you're not gonna beat the game without the six Chaos Emeralds. To up the challenge, Sonic begins the third Act of each Zone without Rings-and he won't find any either. He's got to fight each Robotnik robot without a single Ring in reserve. This means one hit, and you're out. Although frustrating, this also ensures that the bosses are tougher to beat than prior Robotnik incarnations.
The Little Hedgehog that Could
Sonic The Hedgehog obviously has what it takes to be more than a long-term contender in the video game arena. This latest success story's got the game play, the graphics, and the guts to ensure that Sonic will continue to be the title holder in the Game Gear division.

ProTips:
- The date scrolls up when Sonic jumps. This often makes it impossible for Sonic to see what's below him. Look carefully before you leap and beware of jumping in areas with moving critters below you.
- The first Chaos Emerald is in the upper far-right comer of the Under Ground Zone's Act 1.
- Sonic still likes to rock and roll-right through solid walls. Search for areas where the bricks or blocks are smaller or different This usually indicates a spot where you can break through the walls.
- Defeat Robotnik's first robot by simply leaping over all of its cannonball shots.
